⁣Another 6 km walk, enjoyed the sunshine as much as possible, while remembering to practice social distancing. It feels strange, but with all positive energy this will pass. After my walk, I was able to get in some yoga stretches and work on my lower half with just doing squats and lunges around the house!⁣ ( love taking pictures of the moon)

Went for a walk during the day for 2 hours, 7km. 
Being able to connect with nature, smile at others also walking, and just being in the present moment was the most self freeing feeling today. I might start going on walks more often, it felt safe. I may be sore, but its worth it, even sat on my mat for 20 minutes for yoga after.

⁣Today I was body shamed. Actually this has been happening to me for a few days in the past week. But it’s also something I’ve heard and processed for a long time. Recently it’s been affecting me more than usual, mainly because I’ve been hearing it frequently or because maybe my emotions are just highly sensitive right now and the moon was full idk. ⁣✌🏼

I started searching for Yoga for “weight gain” and I sat on my mat thinking … this is stupid, I know I’ve grown and have created a place of love for myself. I’m fine the way I am. 🧿✨
I set an intention, sage cleansed myself, my energy and started my sequence. ⁣⁣🧘🏻‍♀️🌿
⁣𝐘𝐨𝐠𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐔𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡: Focused on creating strength and tone in the upper body and increase overall physical strength. Centring my body with breath is helping me stay on my headstands much longer. ⁣⁣⁣

Focused my flow on flexibility today, towards the end of my sequence I challenged myself to try a headstand fell over, hit my head against the wall and finished my sequence with laugher.

Getting my yoga done earlier in the day felt so good!
I experimented with Yoga Bolsters and Blocks from halfmoonyoga! Thanks Sachi for sharing you're knowledge with me! I have heard so much about them from yoga lovers all around me. I also had some extra love from a little human joining me in my practice!

What is a yoga bolster: Body pillow but firmer and either a rectangle or circle in shape. Its main purpose is to create relaxation, help soften a posture, or aid in opening the body. As I experimented with the bolster, I found so much comfort and support.

Tired. I got a lot done today. My mind is drained.
Gentle, Relaxing Cozy Flow. I wanted to give my self a good stretch, while moving my body in all four directions to feel balanced, maintain my low end of the night energy and relax.

One week. Core power practice. YOU are a lot stronger than you think. Using my breath really changed how much I could handle in the more muscles of my body. In the middle of a targeted core practice, who knew you could learn and love so hard? Towards the end of my yoga, I felt a lot of emotions rising and I had a few tears, just overwhelmed. I took that moment to accept, breathe and share gratitude for my self.

20 minute restorative yoga practice

Day 1: For the past few days I have been super disconnected with myself so I took the opportunity to check in with my body and mind. Today I am acknowledging all the distractions, frustrations and parts of my body that need more love. I started my wellness session with an affirmation card: Do not compare yourself to others, you are unique and that's awesome. 20 Minutes beginners stretch and ended my yoga with an Expansive Breath that helps energize the body, relieves tension in the back/neck and brings in warmth.
