Would be cool to have a quick action item for creating a new entry.
Lil send button bug <3
On the share sheet, would be cool if you can long hold on publish to switch to private there. Keep publishing and then switching to desktop to make private after.
New iOS alpha update is crashing for me when I push ‘Activity’ <3
Suggestion to clearly show affordances for taps that lead to journals and taps that lead to discussions on the activity feed.
Little visual thing that just happened
Little ‘interface flow’ issue I’m experiencing navigating between activity, journals and comments.
Also would be nice if tap targets for comments were a bit bigger :)
Video of a little bug I’m experiencing on iOS where the audio does not seem to play back on my video.
Video context on suggestion to explicitly state how to refresh activity feed in the interface. <3
Can’t figure out the green circle graph in the widget, sorry I think @Lucas explained it once before 🙊
If I do all my Daily journals does it fill up all the way?
But if I post 3 times in one journal I think it still keeps getting more green…
The + button on the Notion widget is nice, can create a new page really quick and add to a database. Made me think of the quick entry for Futureland, wanting to jot down a note in a journal on the go like this would be interesting.
Weird sizing and alignment here with the previous comment posted + the new one I’m typing. Not a big deal at all, just noting :)
On desktop web I can post to this journal without joining. On iOS there is no new entry field on this journal.
On iOS I (currently) use the ‘activity’ view as my ‘home feed’. A make shift solution for sure.
But It would be tight if it refreshed faster. It’s the primary reason I switch back to the web app rn.
On iOS app, it’s called Home. Maybe it would make sense as Daily.
You can long hold on a journal name in Daily and it brings you to the journal, so nice! Had no idea.
Using the new set entry template UI mechanic a lot. This works super well in day to day use
This should say ‘Remove’ instead of ‘Delete’ so it’s clear that the journal is being removed from ‘Daily’ and not deleted entirely. The colour should probably change to something softer (soft purple?) as well to indicate that the journal is being removed from Daily and not deleted entirely. <3
Didn't have internet for most of the weekend, and the "Error" upload queue worked really nicely as this sorta "offline" mode, pretty sweet and was able to keep my Daily streaks going.
Think it kept the timestamp some how behind the scenes of when I tried to upload originally.
For journals with only one contributor (you), on web it doesn't say "by name" on each entry. This feels right cause it's just you hanging there. But in journal view on the app it says your name for each entry 😊
On the Activity feed, looks like for new entries, the person's name is a larger type size than the journal name.
To protect our users from annoying and frustrating bugs on iOS I am looking for voluntary iOS testers to review new app versions before they get released to the majority of Futureland users. These app versions will include the latest and greatest features but are expected to suffer from more bugs and glitches and are in general less reliable. The test users should help to get the app into a more stable state by giving feedback before new versions get a general release.
FUTURELAND ALPHA IS NOT FOR YOU IF
- You heavily rely on Futureland as your daily tool
- You don't want to deal with bugs and glitches of any kind
- You don't want to give feedback about problems that occur while using the Futureland app
- Stability is more important than the latest features for you
You can comment on this entry or send me a message to get invited to Futureland ALPHA if
- You want to test the latest and greatest features of the Futureland iOS app
- You are ready to report bugs and give feedback in this journal
- You don't mind if you experience bugs or crashes while using the iOS app
Everyone is invited to follow the development of the Futureland iOS app and share their insights, experiences and bugs in this journal.
