Thankful for the break from screens to see the sky

I have a tendency to do a lot of my dailies right before bed. I took a couple of minutes to enjoy before coming in to wash up.

A clear day

Finally got a ‘chance’ to look up. Hard to show you but a clear night sky. It’s time for me to go bed but would’ve been cool to use my telescope tonight.

Walking my dog for a walk and taking in the simple beauty of the sky

Every day at some point I step outside and check the status of the sky. It’s something I’m really proud of lol

Some blue coming in now. Nice to open my eyes to this after meditation.

One of the most beneficial things about doing this is it reminds me to slow down during the day. Usually before I look up I’m in a busy state thinking about how I’m running out of time in the day. Once I look up and then just observe the sky in that moment, I have this seemingly strange realization that every day is the perfect length.

A hot one today.

Every day has a unique sky. How is it so easy to not notice something so beautiful.

I’ve had so much on my mind lately. The past few days I often forget to take a moment to look up until just before bed. It’s interesting. The more I live and work through Futureland the more I notice these little quirks about myself. When I’m present and when I’m in my own thoughts or processing something.

Today the clouds are very thin and wispy.

Most mornings the sky from my roof is clear. I usually meditate on the roof. It’s nice. Feels like a clean slate each day.
